FIRST AID
Check for Vital Signs, C.A.B., and control serious bleedings.
PRIMARY SURVEY
are measurement of our body’s most basic functions such as the Body temperature, Pulse rate, Respiratory rate and Blood pressure.

Measurement of the body’s capacity to produce and eliminate heat.
BODY TEMPERATURE
The heart rate or the count of heart beats per minute. Adults with pulses of 60-100 per minute are in good physical shape.
PULSE RATE
The number of breaths a person takes per minute usually measured during a person’s rest. A breath consists of inhaled and exhaled air during breathing.
RESPIRATORY RATE
It is the measurement of the pressure or force of blood inside yourarteries.
BLOOD PRESSURE
restoring blood circulation by chest compression
CIRCULATION
clearing the airway of the victim for breathing
AIRWAY
breathing for the victim through mouth-to-mouth or mouth-to-nose.
BREATHING
Call for emergency medical services and always be informed of emergency hotlines in the area as Red Cross Hotline No. 143.
ASK FOR HELP
Methodically check other injuries or illnesses by performing a head-to-toe examination.
SECONDARY SURVEY
TYPES OF DRESSING AND BANDAGES
Commonly used to support fractures and dislocations, apply splints, form slings, and make improvised tourniquets.
TRIANGULAR BANDAGE
trying triangular bandages. It is secure and it does not slip.
SQUARE OR REEF KNOT
A folded triangular bandage.
