- Acc caused that injury; and
- Acc was aware that his/her acts would probably injure COMP; and
- Acc acted without lawful justification or excuse.

Before you can find Acc guilty of intentionally causing injury, the prosecution must prove to you beyond reasonable doubt:
- COMP was injured; and
- Acc caused that injury; and
- Acc intended to injure COMP; and
- Acc acted without lawful justification or excuse.
