Before you can find Acc guilty of intentionally causing injury, the prosecution must prove to you beyond reasonable doubt:

  1. COMP was injured; and
  2. Acc caused that injury; and
  3. Acc intended to injure COMP; and
  4. Acc acted without lawful justification or excuse.
