a. Poor general impression

i. Severe pain everywhere
j. Mult. injuries
Maintain O2 saturation at
94% or greater
Non-rebreather mask flowed at
10-15 L/min
BVM flowed at
15-25 L/min
How is an advanced airway placement confirmed
ETCO2
Visualization
Negative epigastric sounds
Positive bilateral breath sounds
How is an open wound/sucking chest wound corrected
w/ an occlusive dressing
ALS level 1 for Pain management
Self admin. Nitrous Oxide
Morphine - 5 mg IV (max. 10 mg) titrate to BP above 90
