Correct technique to use a inhaler

A

Test first. Hold inhaler upright and take the cap off. Shake the inhaler. Sit up straight and slightly tilt your chin up. Breathe out away from the inhaler so lungs feel empty, then put lips around mouthpiece, start to breathe in and at the same time, press the canister on the inhaler once. Continue to breathe in, take the inhaler out and hold your breath for up to 10 seconds.
