It looks quite comparable to the WDC system, like the WDC you can apply all aspects from module C, and use search modifiers, sort order and filters to narrow the search.

What is the Web of Science?

An important database for sciences, social sciences, economics and the arts and humanities. It has an independent and thorough editorial process which ensures journal quality.

It allows you to identify publications that have cited an article of interest. There are two ways to find this:

1. All records in web of science contain a link to citing publications.
2. It also offers a unique cited references searching tool that helps to find citing publications.

What aspect of the Web of Science differs from the WDC system?

The wildcard system:

1.the dollar sign ($), which represents zero or one character (useful for finding both the British
and American spellings of the same word: flavo$r finds flavor and flavour);

2. the question mark (?), which represents any single character (e.g., searching for ad??? will
   find added, adult, adopt, but not adoption).
