Scabies - what is it?
A
Sarcoptes scabei
Highly contagious - spread by direct contact
F mites digs burrow and lays eggs

Scabies Presentation
A
Burrows: short, serpiginous grey line, black dot
Hypersensitivity rash: eczematous, vesicles
Extremely itchy -> excoriation
Particularly affects the finger web spaces (esp. 1st)
Also: axillae, groin, umbilicus

A
Permethrin cream: applied fro menck down for 24hrs
2nd line: malathion
3rd line: oral ivermectin
Treat all member of the household
