What is Infertility?
A
Infertility is the failure to become pregnant and it is due to a problem with the male or female’s reproductive system.

What are some ways for a person (man or woman) to not be able to fertilise?
A
Blocked fallopian tubes/sperm pathways.
Smoking, Alcohol or drugs.
Low sperm count.
Ovulation problems.

What kind treatment is there to allow people to have a baby?
A
IVF where eggs and sperm are combined in a lab, and an embryo is placed in the uterus.
IUI sperm is directly inserted into the uterus.
Egg or Sperm Donation using donor eggs or sperm if one partner has fertility issues.
Fertility Medications help with ovulation or sperm production.
Surrogacy another person carries the baby if the mother cannot.
