Cephalexin instead of trimethoprim in pregnancy

A

CAP: strep pneumoniae, haemophilus influenzae (others: moraxella caterrhalis in immunocompromised, pseudomonas aeruginosa in CF and bronchiectasis, staph aureus in CF)

Abx: CURB-65 score 0-1: amoxicillin/ clarithromycin
2: both
3+: both + co amoxiclav

A

Atypical: legionella pneumoniae, mycoplasma pneumoniae, chlamydia psittaci, coxielia burnetti, chlamydophilia pneumniae
