Cons:
They don’t always work - sometimes they don’t give you immunity

Bacteria can become resistant to Antibodies:
A
- Bacteria can mutate - sometimes the mutation cause them to be resistant to (not killed) by an antibiotic

Three main stages in drug testing:
A
- The pre-clinical testing drugs tested on human cells and tissue in the lab
- The next step is test drugs on living animals
- If the drug passes the test on animals then it’s tested on human volunteers in a clinical trial
