Normal vs Abnormal Behavior for infants
Infants will commonly spit up, only an issue when its projectile
Colic is when infants cry constantly and are inconsolable.

BRUE or ALTE, aborted or near miss SIDs, is a unexplained apnea spell >20 seconds
SIDs caused by smoking, belly sleeping, cosleeping, crib clutter.

Sleep patterns differ among infants, 3-4m sleep lasts 9-11 hours, should lay on back to sleep, do not put bottle in bed, no blankets in crib.
Firm flat, human milk, back to sleep, infant in parent room for first 6 months, nothing in crib, pacifier during bed time and nap time.

Growth and Development Milestones, how much should they weigh and how long should they be?
By 6 months, by 1 year?
Infants should gain 5-7oz per week, eventually doubling birth weigh by 6 months and then tripling it by 1 year

Motor accidents are the leading cause of accidental infant death, infants should be in the back of the car until 8th birthday, also do not need a blanket with clothes
