Holiday companies arrange special flights to transport people in the mass tourism industry.

Holidays that include flights, airport transfers and accommodation (plus some meals) as a package. There is less stress finding everything in a holiday if it all comes as one.

Involves local people and aims to do as little harm as possible.
Eco- tourism
Involves small scale tourism, to preserve the environment.

Impacts tourists numbers as more people can afford to go on holidays due to cheaper flights.

Impacts tourism as there are more people/tourists to go abroad frequently.
Improvement in air travel technology
Impacts tourism as there are more planes and they are better quality, therefore are safer, meaning more people want to go on holiday and lets them easily.
Internet booking
Impacts tourism numbers as its much quicker and easier to to book and can be done from anywhere.
Increases holiday entitlement for people
Impacts tourism numbers because jobs give people more time off work, letting them go on holiday more frequently.
Large numbers of airports
Increases tourist number, as airports are closer to home, and therefore is easier to catch a flight.
Exchange rates
Impact the amount of tourism as people will go somewhere where they will get more for their money.
