What is strip farming?
Strip farming is a method of farming which involves cultivating a field partitioned into long , narrow strips which are alternated in a crop rotation system. It is used when a slope is too steep when there is no alternative method of preventing preventing soil erosion.
Why did the agricultural revolution occur?
New farming techniques and improve livestock breeding lead to better food production. This allowed to spike in population and increased health. The new farming techniques also led to an enclosure movement.

Railways changed Britain as they could transport people around Britain. Easier and faster they now had a chance to see somewhere new. They also could transport food quicker and that would’ve resulted in fresh food.
