Less people were required for jobs so they moved into the city to get a job to support their families

It was a way of producing goods on a large scale using many workers and special machinery on one site.
What were the enclosure acts?
Laws where common land was given to private landowners
What is and what is the benefit of four-field crop rotation?
Leading a field unused for a period to avoiding exhausting the soil which is the benefit.
What did James Watt do?
Watt did not invent the steam engine but in 1769, he developed an improved version that was more practical and powerful.
What is the definition for urbanisation?
The process of mass movement of people to cities.

Poor diets, Working on farms, short lives, Peasant life, poor hygiene.

In small wokshops of in loak workers’ cottages (Cottage industries)
