Collective human experiences
Emotionally: As a 9 years old kid, Winton was shocked, worried and scared of the man’s reaction about the accident.

use of emotive language; deeply disturbed, hurting and terrified. To expressed his truthful emotion and evoke the emotion of the audience makes them to have the agreement with him toward the situation.
Collective human experiences
Physically: The accident have made a vulnerable physically for Winton and his dad. The tragedy they had been through together during the trip have a better end than expected.
