psychosocial hazards (anything that wull cause psychological harm) and regulations are put in place as control measures to manage risks.
What are the 4 types of discrimination?
Race, age, sex, disability(impairments whether physical mental intellectual sensory)
What is direct and indirect discrimination?
Direct : clear cut, very front end like not employing based of age gender race etc.
Indirect : hard to prove, policy of a workplace that leads to a discrimination act like maybe a height policy
Explain what an award, enterprise agreement and individual contract is.
Award: legal docs set by the fair work commission that include the minimum pay rates and employment for workers under a specific industry.
Enterprise agreement: Negotaited agreements between employers and employees covering the terms and conditions of employment for a group of employees. Must be approved by the Fair work commission.
Individual contract: agreements between a single employer and employee - contracts must comply with NES

enterprise agreements:flexible, can meet needs, increase wage costs as has to be BOO, cant individually tailor employee
individual contracts: very flexible, can individually meet everyone, more motivating, higher wage for employers BOO
