- Diversity imperative within a business to help reflect the communities that the profession serves
- Encourage other views, outlooks and opinions

A
- Consolidates discrimination law and protects against discrimination and inequality
- Types of legal discrimination:
- Direct
- Indirect
- Harassment
- Victimisation
- Lettings and sales cannot be undertaken in a discriminatory way
- Requirement to provide disabled access
- Building Regulation Approved Document M: Access to and use of buildings
- Requirement for access statement to all properties
- Duty to make disability arrangements if proportionate in cost and disruption

A
Treating or categorising someone by way of gender, race, sexuality, age, disability etc

- What inequalities could there be in the workplace?
A
Discrimination against certain people and groups. Recruitment is a key part, i.e. not hiring somebody based on gender, race, disability, age etc.
