  • Ensure procedures meet requirements of the Evidence Act 2006
  • Ensure process occurs as soon as practicable
  • Use employees trained in PhotoManager to create line ups
  • Use appropriate written records detailing the I.D procedure and have these verified in accordance with the Evidence Act 2006

A

As per S45 of the Evidence Act 2006:
- Occurs as soon as practicable
- Suspect with NO less than 7 others
- No indication of who is the suspect
- Informed the suspect may OR may not be in the line up
- Written record of procedure provided to the judge and defendant
- Pictoral Record certified as to being true by O/C and provided to judge and defendant
- Procedure complies with relevant regulation
