Not without specific authority from a supervisor.

Section 8: Entry without warrant to avoid loss of offender/evidential material.
Section 14: Warrantless entry to prevent an offence or respond to risk to life or safety.
When can you seize firearms at a 5F?
- Serving PSO / Protection Order.
- If firearm related offending occurred after K9.
Why use 111 calls as evidence?
Snapshot of victims feelings at the time of offending and may capture background evidence.
Physical evidence to corroborate allegations?
Weapons, photos of injuries/offender/damage.
When to take statements?
ASAP - feelings may change!
Importance of corroborative evidence?
Important for when a victim becomes reluctant!
