- continue CPR 30:2
- use defib asap

What are the steps to provide basic life support in a hospital?

- shake patients shoulders and ask if they are ok, if no response shout for help
- look, listen, and feel for breathing
- call/ bleep cardaic team before starting CPR
- note time of CPR commenced
- as soon as AED arrives start defibrillation
- handover to CPR team
