  • shake patients shoulders and ask if they are ok, if no response shout for help
  • look, listen, and feel for breathing
  • call/ bleep cardaic team before starting CPR
  • note time of CPR commenced
  • as soon as AED arrives start defibrillation
  • handover to CPR team
