TAXI CHECKS
Landing Light - As required PARK BRAKE - off Wheels brakes - check Flight Instruments - Correct Function A. Turn Needle - Right /Left B. Slips - Left/Right C. PFD/SFD/HUD - Compared, erect D. HSI / Compass - Increasing/decreasing, no alerts E. Nav Aid - Tracking
LINE-UP CHECKS
- RECOG, ANTI-COLL lights - as required
2. Compasses - Check on runway heading
AFTER TAKE-OFF CHECKS
- Landing Gear - UP, lights out
- Flaps - UP
- Airbrake - In
IN FLIGHT CHECKS (FOPEL)
- Fuel - Quantity sufficient, balanced, combat gas.
- Oxygen - EO2 contents, connections, flow, blinkers
- Pressurization - Check (green)
- Engine Instruments - Check, INTAKE as required
- Location - Confirm; nearest airfield
HASELL
PRE-STALL, SPINNING, AEROBATICS, CHECKS
Height - Sufficient
Airframe - Flaps, Landing gear + airbrake as required
Security - Harness tight, no loose articles
Engine - Normal; fuel quantity sufficient, balanced no alerts
Location - Suitable
Lookout - Clear (aircraft, cloud)
FIRAD
DESCENT CHECKS
FUEL - Quantity sufficient, balanced Instruments - Compared, erect Radios / Avionics - Set for recovery Altimeters - Set, compared Defoe /Doors - AIR SUPPLY lever and INTAKE as required
Before Landing Checks
Airspeed - Below 180 KIAS Airbrake - In Landing Gear - DN, 3 greens Flaps - As required Fuel - Quantity Sufficient, balanced Seat Harness - Tight Brakes - Checked
FINAL CHECKS
Landing Gear - 3 greens
Flaps - As required
Runway - Clear or not clear
Clearance - As required
Go-Around Checks
Engine Power - As required
Landing Gear - Up, Lights our
Flaps - UP
Airbrake - In
HEOR
HEIGHT - Sufficient
ERECT - attitude erect
, attitude headings on PFD, SFD, HUD, warnings/cautions, orient
Oxygen + Press - ON, auto, connection and flow, no mask leaks and check pressurization normal - pressure green
Resolve - resolve cause of the UA- for training.
TISC
TUNE - correct freq, standby freq as required, mode for Tacan
IDENTIFY - ID Morse code
SELECT - Correct NAV source set, BP1/2 as required
COURSE - Required course

WEATHER - Actual weather required for approach
RUNWAY - In use
APPROACH - as minimum
