The mirrors
- Should not CB
- be clean and free of illegal stickers broken
- PSNB
- adjusted to properly see the trailer
Door windows
Go up and down, not broken, cracked or have illegal stickers
Door
Should open and close correctly with the rubber seal around it, no cuts
The door hinges
- PSNB
- not CB
3 Pedals
Clutch has no more than 1 inch of free play.
-The rubber on the Clutch, service brake and accelerator Must be be CGO and not CB
Steering components
Box steering column,
- Not CBB and secure
- PSNB
- no missing parts
Electrical and freeway horn
Must be working properly
Steering wheel
- This wheel is 20 inches a
- it must not have more than 2 inches of free play
- PSNB
Headlights, low beams, signal lights, emergency lights
- must be working properly ( turn them on off)
Water temperature
Between 170 - 195 Degrees but not more than 210°
Oil pressure
Between 20 to 60 PSI when the engine is idle and 35 to 75 PSI when the vehicle is the moving
Pressure gauges
The primary and secondary gauge have no more than 140 psi
MPH needles
Will be checked on the road, they have to go up and down
RPM
Must be working properly (needles go up and down)
Fuel diesel gauge
At least 1/4 of a tank before going on the road
Battery volts
Between 12 to 15 (make sure you tell the examiner how many volts the vehicles is at)
Windshield
Must not be cracked, broken, damaged, or have any illegal stickers
Wipers
Must have a rubber blade Properly installed, not cut or loose and operate smoothly
Spring brake valves
- Not CB and no air leaks
- PSNB
Extra fuse box
For any emergency has to be available
AC, defroster and heater
- not CBM,
- Working properly
Shifter lever
- Shifter lever is not CBL or have air leaks
- hoses must PSC and not be ABC
- Must have rubber boots with no ABC and PSNB, not missing screws to prevent fumes from coming into cabin
Fire extinguisher
- PSNB
- Up to-date and full
- ready to use
Three emergency triangles
- not CBF
- Must be available of color amber
