What is the distinguishing feature between Oppositional defiant disorder and Conduct Disorder?

A

In ODD, there is a pattern of negativistic, hostile or defiant behavior directed towards adults or authority figures.

In Conduct Disorder, the negative behavior is directed at all others, regardless of authority figure or not. So Conduct Disorder has a wider ranging destructive nature.
