What are the elements of an impossible crime?

A

The three (3) elements of an impossible crime are:
(1) The acts performed would have been a crime against persons or property;
(2) There is criminal intent; and
(3) It is not accomplished because of inherent impossibility or because the means employed is inadequate or ineffectual.
