No, we believe in the scriptures but we also believe in continuing revelation. This is important for me because sometimes I can get hung up or confused about certain scriptures.

Elder Holland said in his talk entitled, “My words…never cease”:

“So the scriptures are not the ultimate source of knowledge for Latter-day Saints. . . The ultimate source of knowledge and authority for a Latter-day Saint is the living God.”
