A leader of a militia unit in Vermont that helped Benedict Arnold take Fort Ticonderoga after the Battle of Lexington and Concord
Ethan Allen
Delivered A LOT of heavy artillery from Fort Ticonderoga to American Forces outside Boston during the British occupation of the city
His delivery helped substantially in the recapture of the city

Commander of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War and the 1st president of the US

One of the founding fathers that originally joined the Patriots as a local volunteer militia company then became Washington’s right hand man in military dealings and stuff (lieutenant colonel)
Alexander Hamilton
French Aristocrat and military officer. He volunteered to join the continental army voluntarily w/out pay. He became a major general and eventually joined Washington’s staff
Ultimately, he played a signifigant role in the revolution as a commander and advocate in the French government

Trained the Continental Army at Valley Forge which significantly boosted morale

Was privateer hired by the US continental Army that secured a major victory with capture of the H.M.S drake in British Waters

Led the attack on Savannah that ultimately failed and surrendered to the British at the siege of Charleston (ouch)
