What is the order in which you should wash your hands?

Answer 1

1. Turn on water (not too hot)
2. Wet wrist and hands (hands lower than elbows)
3. Put soap on hands and wrists and lather hands and wrists with soap
4. Scrub (circular motions)
5. Rinse downwards
6. Dab hands dry with paper towel
7. Get new paper towel to turn off sink

What parts of the hands should you wash and what order?

Answer 2

1. Palms
2. Back of hands
3. Thumbs and fingers / between fingers
4. Knuckles
5. Fingernails (individually)
6. Wrist (one inch above)
