- Idea of Church as either organism or institution
- Became a political figure and the prime minister
- Sphere Sovereignty: State to maintain justice, church to maintain church, family to maintain family, etc… Each sphere has its own obligations.
- Antithesis and Common Grace: Fundamental antithesis between believers and unbelievers because of regeneration

- Military like order, dedicated to the Pope.
- Very educated.
