First Formal Meeting
November 5, 1983 Suite 305, All founding fathers in addition to Rick Brooks were in attendance, Letters were voted on and approved, colors were discussed: Light Blue and Turquoise, Don Haas and Tom Rimmer were made honorary leaders
Second meeting
November 12, 1983, sent letters to the greek orgs, made a schedule for next few months, decided to change color scheme to avoid conflict, decided on green and gold, asked the arthusan sorority if using green was okay, said yes as long as first party was with all 60 of them and the 18 omegas said yes
Election (lock-in) to determine officers
At midnight, Dec 5, 1983, first election to determine officers:
President - Jim Stoddard, VP - Tom Rimmer, Pledgemaster - Don Haas, Recording Sec - Dave Blackley, Corresponding Sec - Ed Coyle,
Treasurer - Todd Rupprecht, Sereant at Arms - John Culhane, Historian - Dave Westcott, IGC Representative - Dan Zuveckas
Ballots were done secretly and were distributed along route 63 by car (since become tradition)
First Day Back from Break
January 16, 1984, realized the urgency of the situation, all brothers had to be on their best behaviour and dedicate themselves to making Omega a reality
Informal “get acquainted party”
January 30, 1984, All greek Orgs were invited to the Inn Between, First Night as intended brothers, Impressions were positive but knew vote would still be close, “Frosty” tradition created by John Culhane and preformed by everyone
