It was a meeting to decide how to divide Africa. Leaders from 14 European Countries. By the end, Africa was divided into 7 European Countries.
What was the reason for the Berlin Conference?
Because they feared war amongst themselves.
What resources did wealth in Africa come from?
Copper, tin, gold, diamonds, cash crops- peanuts, palm oil, cocoa, rubber.
How was the Boer War the first Total War?
All resources were dedicated to the war effort.
