Notice of allegation, in writing, against President is presented to Senate president who gives all members of the house and president a copy each within 7 days

Within 14 days, the house moves a motion for the allegation to be investigated

The motion is passed if supported by ⅔ majority of each house.

Within 7 days, CJN appoints a 7-man panel to investigate the allegation

President has right to defend himself

The panel must within 3 months report its findings to the NA

If the panel reports that the allegation was not proved, proceedings end

If proved, and within 14 days, a vote is passed by ⅔ majority of each house, the report of the panel is adopted and the president can be removed.

No proceeding of the panel or NA can be entertained in court.
