It would stop access for everyone to the business meaning that nothing in that time online will be bought decreasing sales.

Why Stakeholders are important?
They are the people or businesses that will be affected if there was a cyber attack.
Name 1 stakeholder who would be affected if there was a denial of service attack on Tesco? and the impact it would have on them? (2-4 mark question)
Customers - they would not be able to shop online and may just do their shopping elsewhere.
Staff - Won’t be able to access servers for data and might have to do their job without the technology.
Suppliers - May be worried if they are exposed to a similar attack and cut ties with the business through lack of trust and security.
[These are also all negative impacts for the business itself].
