do restrict movement, not as much as complex
- in addition to positioning aids
- tape, velcro, bite blocks, arm & foot straps

for head and neck treatments, to get shoulders out of the way

restrict patient movement reproducibility *styrofoam *cannot reuse alpha cradles Advantage of aquaplast- you can mark on it *heat to 160 degrees
