OPT EAD
Optional Practical Training - Received post-graduation
EAD will be valid for a period of 12 months
Certain individuals are eligible for an extension of the EAD – called STEM extension (Science,
Technology, Engineering, Mathematics). EAD can be extended for additional 24 months.
Category: CO3
CPT EAD
Curricular Practical Training - Awarded by school as part of a degree program. Valid as long as the person is enrolled in school. CPT candidates who work on a contract for a year are more are not eligible for OPT.
If it’s an F-1 Visa CPT you will know it is
a CPT Visa because the School is
authorized on I-20.
L2 Visa
Dependent visa. L2 dependent is spouse to an L1.

L1 Visa
Employee on L1 Visa is authorized to work with a specific company. We do not work with candidates on L1 Visa.
GC EAD
it will say across the top “United States of America Employment Authorization Card”

TN Visa
For citizens of Canada and Mexico. Can be granted for periods of up to 3 years. No limit on renewal.
TN Visa - Mexico
Mexican citizens require travel visas. They will need to make an appointment in advance. The cost of the visa is $160. In general, it takes about 6 weeks to prepare the petition and get a visa.
TN Visa - Canada
Canadian citizens do not require travel visas. They can apply for the TN at the U.S. border or airport. The application fee is approximately $56. In general, it takes about 2 weeks to prepare the application. Canadian Citizens must have an applicable college degree. We can not use a candidates current TN that he/she has with another company to onboard them on our assignment ( a new TN Visa must be obtained).
H4 EAD
H4 is a dependent Visa. H4 is the spouse of an H1. We do not work with H4 EAD holders.
