Haemoptysis Features suggestive of mets Persistent lymphadenopathy Finger clubbing Unexplained or persistent (> 3 weeks): Cough Chest pain SOB Wt loss Chest signs Hoarseness

A
CXR suggestive of lung cancer (pleural effusion and slowly resolving consolidation)
Persistent haemoptysis in smokers
Signs of superior vena cava obstruction
Stridor

A
Obstruction of blood flow through SVC - gradual compression causing head and neck oedema and collateral blood flow
Medical emergency: airway obstruction, LOC due to cerebral anoxia, respiratory arrest, intracerebral bleeding
