Q

What is the common path of egress travel? How do you remember this?

A

Common path of egress travel, also known as FARTHEST common path of egress travel, is length of the path at the most remote point to a point of choice.

If you are given a suite and/or multi-family housing on the PRAC exam, the point of choice will be out in the common corridor if the suite only has one exit. If the suite has 2 exits, the common path will be in the suite of the floor plan.
