What is the mathmatical rule for the number of trees?

A

unrooted tree with n taxa has 2 n - 3 internal nodes (or
HTU) and is compatible with 2 n - 3 corresponding rooted
trees.

The
number of rooted trees exponentially increases with
number of taxa.

Only one tree can be the true tree
