What airspeed do we want when flying a precision approach?
110 KIAS initially, then slow to 100 KIAS when turning onto the final approach course
When do we do GUMPS for non-precision?
Twice- 1000’ above and short final

100’ Above - level off, 25” MAP, prop forward
If visual straight-in: Gear & Flaps immediately
If circling: Gear & Flaps on base
Short final: add 2nd notch of flaps
If RW not in sight, go missed
How many flaps do we use on OEI approaches?
Only 2 notches / 25 degrees
