Imperialism is an empire’s or groups power or influence on other places by diplomacy or military force that usually benefits the group and exploits the weaker territory. Such as England and the American colonies. England, exploited the colonies to benefit themselves.

Why does it matter?:
Imperialism matters to help us understand why the modern world is the way it is which helps us learn about the origins of the uneven distribution of wealth, power, and goods. Such as why America is more wealthier than Brazil.

What is it literally?:
Industrial Revolution was an era starting in the late 1700s and early 1800s which transformed economics based on agriculture and hand-made crafts to automatic machine and new power sources which made already existing industries more efficient and productive. The industrial revolution created a market for raw material and finished products.

Why does it matter?:
It matters because it started mass production and made iron cheaper. This allowed England to stop importing iron from Northern England and instead grow the largest iron industry in the world

Globalization is the interaction and moderation of people, items/goods, ideas, religion, and technology on a global scale. Such as when Columbus traveled to the Americas and spread, people, ideas, religion, and technology and brought together people who had been separated for 10,000 years

Why does it matter?:
Globalization matters because it improves quality of life by giving more variety to consumers for a cheaper cost and saving resources. Such as Mexican chili pepper that has taken over Asia giving more variety to consumers.
