A
raised ICP in absence of any space occupying lesions or hydrocephalus

who gets IIH
A
Young female + obese

IIH features
A
headaches (bad in morning, relieved by standing)
visual loss (papillodema)
nausea + vomitting
Sometimes CN VI palsy

investigations for IIH
A
CT or MRI (may show normal or reduced [slit like] ventricles) visual fields + fundoscope Lumbar puncture (if not contraindicated)

management of IIH
A
diruetics (acetazolomide)
VP shunt
Optic nerve sheath fenestration??
WEIGHT LOSS!!!!!
