What is Idiographic?
A
Focus on the individual and emphasise the unique personal experience of human nature.

Unstructured interviews, case studies, thematic analysis. These methods provide an insight into individual behaviour.

Studying large groups of people, more generalised explanations

A
Cognitive - it comes up with memory models which is for everybody but also do lab study’s - Baddeley.
Psychodynamic - it comes up with laws about people’s behaviour (psychosexual stages) but also looks at case study’s - Little Hans.
