- Idiographic= individual less scientific
- Nomothetic= social NORMS is more scientific

A
- to produce general laws of human aggression
- aligned with scientific processes= experiments
- study with large numbers to establish laws
- reductionist and determinist
- behaviourist, cognitive and biological
