What is a Person in EmpowerID?

What is Core Identity?
An optional object that links multiple Person objects owned by the same human or entity.
What is Person Identity?
The primary user object in EmpowerID that represents a user’s identity.
What is an Inventory Job?
A job that populates the attribute inbox, handles resource system inventory, and initiates Person provisioning using Join and Provision Rule logic.
What is the Account Inbox Permanent Workflow?
A continuous workflow (every 10 minutes) that processes unprocessed accounts in the EmpowerID metadirectory.
What are External Roles and Locations?
Data from external authoritative systems (e.g., HR) used to assign EmpowerID Business Roles and Locations.
What are Internal Business Roles and Locations?
Mappings of external job codes to EmpowerID roles and external location codes to EmpowerID locations, assigned to Person objects.
What is the Role and Location Compiler?
A job that generates proposed changes to Business Roles and Locations for Person objects.
What is the Role and Location Processor?
Applies role and location changes, assigns secondary roles/locations, and manages ambiguous assignments by reassigning defaults.
What is the relationship between Core Identity, Person Identity, and Account?
Core Identity links multiple Person objects. Person Identity is the main user object in EmpowerID. Accounts control permissions and authentication for Person objects.
