What are common nouns

A

Common nouns are names that are given to ordinary objects. We can easily group common nouns into things that we can see and touch

What are abstract nouns

A

An abstract noun refers to some thing that we cannot see touch or measure. These are not physical,concrete things and are usually feelings or emotions. Example: friendship imagination kindness courage optimism concentration love respect

A

We use pronouns to avoid repetition
Example:Joan plays the piano. Joan practices the piano daily .
Joan plays the piano.she practices daily
In the sentence above,she takes the place of Joan and it takes the place of the piano . This stops us repeating ourselves .
