A

Biometrics (finger prints, DNA), eye witnesses (e-fit recognition, PNC facial recognition, ID parades, photographs, VIPER (video identification parades), Code D statements, footwear impressions, fibres, vein patterns, jewellery, items of clothing, voice identification, hand writing

A

Word for word in pocket notebook/ bodywork video to be documented later or over the radio to put it on a log

A

Getting the victim of a crime in your car and driving them around to see whether they can identify the suspect - you must keep this fair and ensure that the victim is the one to pick out the suspect

  • call for someone else to get the suspect to avoid cross contamination
