Broadband
A high-speed internet connection.
Cable
A data communications technology that provides broadband internet speeds over the cable television infrastructure.
Data
Values, typically letters or numbers.
Digital
Information stored as discrete values usually represented as numbers. This contrasts with analogue data which is represented by continuous data, usually in waves.
Digital Broadcasting
Broadcasting using digital data. A greater number of channels can be offered as well as interactive services, eg the red button.

Documents containing all the information a user needs to know about using and getting support with a piece of software or hardware.
User Guide
A step-by-step guide to using a piece of software including instructions, example scenarios and screenshots.
Application
A software program that allows a user to perform a specific task.
Benchmark
A measurement of performance, there are software and hardware benchmarks.
Crash
When an application or operating system no longer responds. Crashes can be caused by software and hardware.
Input Device
