Definition of Icing?
A
When the OAT on the ground, or the TAT in flight is below 8 degrees and in visible moisture (1sm or 1600m vis).
Icing conditions also exist on the ground in Standing water, Slush, Ice or a snow on the taxiways or Runway.

A
+5 to -15 degrees

Ice Shedding on Ground Procedure?
A
60% N1 for 30 seconds every 30 minutes and before Takeoff

- Once Cleared Ops Normal

During Descent and Holding

A
Clean - VLS + 15 knots
Dirty - VLS + 5 knots (+10 knots if WAI U/S)
