Definition of Icing Conditions:
- OAT (on the ground and for takeoff)
Or
-TAT (inflight) is 10°C or below and;
- Visible moisture in any form is present such as clouds, fog (one mile or less visibility), rain, snow, sleet and ice crystals, or

Engine and Wing Anti-Ice operations: Before start, the MCDU TO DATASET MENU REF A/I must be set to ___ when OAT is 10° or below and icing conditions exist or are anticipated.
ALL when OAT is 10° or below and icing conditions exist or are anticipated.
The engine and wing anti-ice systems operate automatically, in case of ice encounter when the ice protection MODE Knob is in the AUTO position. If either one or both ice detectors are failed, the crew must set the mode selector to ___ when icing conditions exist or are anticipated below 10° TAT with visible moisture.
the crew must set the mode selector to ON when icing conditions exist or are anticipated below 10° TAT with visible moisture.
If there is any chance of encountering icing conditions below _______ft AFE, set the REF A/I to ______ for takeoff.
If there is any chance of encountering icing conditions below 1700ft AFE, set the REF A/I to ALL for takeoff.
