- Weight loss is more common in Crohn’s than UC

- Inflammation of the ENTIRE BOWEL WALL
- Jumps around (instead of UC’s rectal to proximal)
- Occurs anywhere from mouth to anus
- Occurs with CIGARETTE SMOKING

- Tenismus and rectal bleeding are rare
- Weight loss is more common than in UC
- Nutritional deficiencies and malabsorption are common
- Mostly only seen in severe UC

- Pain may be in RLQ
- May have palpable mass
- Inflammation, edema and fibrosis may lead to
- Obstruction, abscess, and fistulas
