What is the procedure for engine failure (at or above V1) takeoff continued?
A
- V1 speed - rotate
- Landing gear (positive rate) - UP
- Airspeed - V2 to 400’ AGL
- Propeller - Verify feathered
- Airspeed (400’ AGL min) - Blue line
- Flaps - up
- Accomplish “Engine failure or fire in flight” memory items and checklist when stabilized above 1500’ AGL

Engine failure or fire in flight
A
- Failed engine - Verify. **
- Condition lever - Cutoff. **
- Propeller lever - Feather. **
- Firewall fuel valve - Pull closed
- Fire Extinguisher - As required
- Auto Ignition - Off
- Autofeather - Off
- Propeller Sync (if installed) - Off
- Generator - Off
- Electrical load - Within limits
- Bleed Air Valve - Inst & Envir Off

L or R OIL Press
A
- Oil Pressure Gage - Check pressure. **
- If below 60 psi - secure engine or land at nearest suitable airport using minimum power required. **
- If between 60-90 psi - Do not exceed 2000 torque

L or R Fuel Press
A
- Standby pump (failed side) - ON **
- Oil temp/press (same side) - Monitor
If Fuel Press annunciator does not extinguish: - Maintain safe altitude
- Land at nearest suitable airport

Engine Fire on ground
A
- Both condition levers - Cutoff
- Both Propeller levers - Feather
- Both firewall fuel valves - Pull Closed
- Both STBY fuel pumps - Off
- Starter switch - Starter Only
- Fire Extinguisher - As Required

Electrical smoke or fire
A
- Oxygen - Pull On. **
- Crew - Pull lanyard pin, don mask. **
- Emergency lights (if required) - ON
- Avionics Master - Off
- Generators - Off
- Pilot and Copilot air - Pull On
- Defrost air - Pull on
If fire persists or if fire is not confirmed out: - Master switch - Off
- Vent Air - Pull on
- Land at nearest suitable airport. Plan to land with existing flaps and extending the gear manually.
- Refer to the AFM or QRH for procedures on restoring partial power

Environmental smoke or fire
A
- Oxygen - Pull On **
- Crew - Pull lanyard pin, don mask **
- Pilot and copilot air - Push off
- Defrost air - Push Off
- Vent blowers - Low
- Overhead air vents - Open
- Left bleed air valve - Envir off
If smoke decreases, continue operation.
If smoke persists: - Left bleed air valve - Open
- Right bleed air valve - Envir Off
If smoke decreases, continue operation.
If smoke persists: - Bleed air valves - Envir Off
- Cabin Pressure - DUMP
- Vent air - Pull ON
- Land at nearest suitable airport

FWD cabin door or Aft Cabin door
A
- All Occupants - Seated with seat belts fastened **
- Oxygen - as required
- Cabin differential Pressure - reduce to zero
- Land at nearest suitable airport

Emergency descent
A
- Power levers - flight idle
- Propeller levers - Full forward
- Flaps (below 198 KIAS) - Takeoff
- Landing gear - Down
- Airspeed - 180 KIAS

- Landing gear - UP

- Propellers - Feathered
- Airspeed - 125 KIAS

A
- Inverter switch - Select other inverter

L and R DC GEN
A
- Instrument Emergency lights (if required) - ON. **
- Generators - Reset, then ON **
If either Generator will reset: - Do not exceed 100% load on operating generator. **
If neither Generator will reset: - Non-essential equipment - OFF. **
- Autopilot - Off
- Land at nearest suitable airport
- Flaps - do not extend
- Landing gear - Extend Manually

- Control column - full forward
- Full rudder - Opposite direction of the spin
- Power levers - Idle
- Controls - Neutralize when rotation stops

High Differential Pressure
A
- Bleed air valves - Envir Off. **
- Oxygen - as required
- Descend - as required

Cabin Altitude
A
- Oxygen - Confirm ON. **
- Oxygen Mask - Lanyard Pin Pull, Don mask. **
- Cabin pressure switch - Check Press
- Pressurization controller - check setting
- Bleed air valves - check open
- Consider emergency descent
- Oxygen supply - verify sufficient
