A

Serum sodium conc < 135 mmol/L
Measure serum osmolarity (hyponatraemia + pseudohyponatremia)

Treatment

A

Acute:
FIRST LINE: hypertonic saline infusion
Chronic:
FIRST LINE: Fluid restriction + Loop diuretics
